Expanding Health Innovation in WA
The Founding Institutes established HTG to expand delivery of health promotion in a manner and at a scale that maximises translational outcomes from Western Australian medical research and innovation.
Membership of the HTG is open to any medical research institute or entity that is involved in medical research, including as part of a larger organisation or association, that is based in or has a significant presence in Western Australia. The Founding MRIs recognise that the translation and conversion of research into real world application needs specific focus and expertise that is independent of the research but can also improve the focus of researchers developing solutions for human diseases.
HTG is focused on our WA ecosystem and scaling the skills, experience and discipline necessary to more rapidly identify and make treatments and cures of diseases available to the public.

Our Focus Encompasses..
Fuelling the journey from discovery to healing through vision, investment, and unwavering commitment.
Research Translation
Communicating the importance and complexity of scientific research in a manner that engages the community and investors to support the translation of the innovation into patients.
Investable Innovation
Building viable and investable companies that will ensure that Western Australian innovation is
protected through appropriate intellectual property and business strategy to deliver a product that achieves tangible improvements for the prevention and control of human diseases.
Funding Continuity
Provide funding to maximise successful outcomes for investors, MRIs and researchers that have underpinned the innovations so that success can support future research programs and attract ongoing investment support.
HTG is an initiative of three existing and well-respected Western Australian medical research institutes (MRIs), each of which are registered charities and endorsed as individual Health Promotion Charities (HPC).
