Our Mission

The Health Translation Group is a purpose-focused entity established to support the medical research community
to sustainably deliver on research translation and health technology commercialisation.

We have two core areas of activity:

Enhancing Commercialisation of Medical Research

Building a critical mass of experienced commercialisation expertise, that will work seamlessly with the existing ecosystem, to improve the commercial offerings and returns from our medical research discoveries.

Establishing a Sustainable Investment Fund

Establishing an open-ended source of early-stage investment funds which will be able to lead, and follow-on invest, in Western Australian spin-out companies and medical research discoveries.

As a registered charity, any returns made by the Health Translation Group through our translation and investment
activities will be directed back towards medical research.

The outcomes will ensure medical discoveries find their way to patients, inventing researchers participate in any
returns, and the medical research community can realise meaningful returns to support ongoing, and expanded,
levels of operation and output.
